The company

100 years of history

Molini Lario was founded in Como in 1919 and represents an example of excellence and entrepreneurial foresight in the art of milling.

Today we are proud to be a centennial reality that has conquered a primary role in the world of soft wheat flour production.
In a world that runs towards the future, often forgetting the values of the past, having a long and important history behind us - born from the commitment and intelligence of three generations - represents a fundamental starting point for facing tomorrow with optimism and with new energy.

The continuously strong market response has led to a constant growth of Molini Lario.
The progressive updates of the production capacity first saw the establishment of a second production unit in Monza and later, in the 70s, the transfer of the production to a single plant in Alzate Brianza, in the heart of the Brianza area, a short distance from the shores of Lake Como.

In the following decades, the new Molini Lario plant benefited from major investments, thus reaching a level of absolute technological leadership in the processing of soft wheat, with a grinding potential of 425 tons per day.

The meticulous attention to the quality of the flour, which has always accompanied the development of the company, still represents the essential element of Molini Lario's success on the market today.

A very extensive range of flours

Thanks to continuous laboratory research and experimentation, always looking to better meet the needs of qualified customers, the company offers an extensive variety of flours: from a very wide range of flours for bread-making to specific flours for pizza and pastry-making, up to the range of flours called Tanta Fibra, characterized by products with a high nutritional content.

At the service of a diversified clientele

Thanks to the quality level of its flour production, Molini Lario is aimed at the food industry, meeting the rigorous standards imposed by brands of excellence at an international level through dedicated productions. It is also aimed at artisan bakers, bakers - professionals in the world of flour, with whom there is an intense dialogue under way in order to improve the offer to the end consumer - as well as at wholesalers, who allow the widespread and efficient distribution of Molini Lario flour over a large part of the national territory.
Molini Lario gears specialized products towards foreign markets as well.
